Well, just Wednesday June 16, 2010 Jeff and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. Wow, how time does fly. We aren't were we thought we would be at this time in our lives, but we are where God has us. So, it is perfect.
A good friend of mine wrote something on her Facebook page the other day...this is what it said.
When change happens we have but one thing to do...We hold onto God who is never changing.
I am holding on to God for my life. We are so financially tight right now, we squeak. My friends Dad used to always say, "Well, I can't wait to see how God's gonna work this out."
I am trusting in that and am so looking forward to seeing how God is gonna work out changes we are facing right now. And He will! He always does.
Jeff's hours at work just got cut. We were already struggling so my immediate thought was, we can't survive. But we are! We didn't think we could go out to eat on our anniversary, just a silly problem. Nothing important or life altering. But, God provided us with $100 for Red Lobster through the awesome ministry of the Joy FM. We had the best anniversary we have ever had. God takes care of EVERYTHING.
I have a fantastic job with the Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Foundation. I am so blessed.
God is good and I can't wait to see heat God is going to do next.
